A family-owned leading distributor of fluid power, motion control, pneumatic, and hydraulic products based in Texas is looking for a Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate provides service excellence and is a trusted advisor to our prospects and customers by accurately and efficiently fulfilling their needs. Our Customer Service Teams work in partnership with our outside sales, procurement, and suppliers to grow our business with existing customers, develop and gain new customers and exceed our monthly sales goals.
What are the essential parts of this role:
- Your primary role is to solve a customer or prospective customers problems
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any pending issues or concerns
- Troubleshoot and resolve order processing issues
- Utilize printed and online vendor information resources to answer customer concerns and questions
- Keep product and reference information up to date
- Remain current on product developments by attending training provided by the company or vendors, reading trade journals, supplier literature, etc.
- Occasional visits to customer sites with our field representatives
Qualifications needed to join our team:
- Technical school training or college degree is preferred; however, previous customer service experience with a strong understanding of Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Fluid Power is just as important
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required
- An Industrial Fluid Power Certification (IFPS) as a hydraulic specialist from the NFPA
Pay: $45k-60k annual
