Job Description Summary

The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in customer service – a person with an outgoing personality who can interact, communicate and build relationships on all levels. They will be energized by being around other people, are socially confident and enjoy being in both large and small social gatherings. They will have a friendly personality who can easily engage people when they enter the building and a good sense of humor coupled with enthusiasm who takes the initiative while being resourceful to ensure that the needs of associates, customers, and visitors are met. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, such as patience and empathy.

  • Welcome associates, customers and visitors to the campus with courtesy, poise and professionalism
  • Create and maintain a warm, inviting, and professional environment
  • Lead tours of the campus to groups of people and acquainting them with the facility’s amenities and history of the client’s company
  • Assist with helping schedule and coordinate meetings/special events as requested
  • Assist in helping coordinate building-based special events (e. g., holiday/seasonal events, employee appreciation events, etc.)
  • Conduct site inspections upon request, including conference rooms, talk rooms, and quiet rooms and ensure all rooms are adequately stocked and maintained in good repair
  • Act as liaison between client’s stakeholders, customers, and visitors
  • Promote and foster positive relationships with Executive Assistants and other stakeholders
  • Maintain an organized and inviting work/lobby area
  • Project warmth, care, and concern for all, along with proper etiquette
  • Adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities, ensuring quality service to all customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in high-end customer service environment, preferably in highly visible position such as Concierge, Front Desk associate, or Guest Services Representative in hospitality or property management
  • Savvy computer skills and well-versed in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well with others, give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional attitude in a sensitive environment

Physical Requirements

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer
  • May involve periods of standing
  • Involves movement between departments, floors, and buildings to facilitate work
  • Involves work such as conducting tours throughout the campus, usually performed by walking and/or climbing stairs
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
