Client Cost Accountant
Location – Birmingham
We have an opportunity for Property Accountant to join our Birmingham team.
We are recruiting for a Cost Accountant to play a key role in our Asset Services team. Joining the team, you will be responsible for analysing the cost of services delivered per client and per property basis. You will provide clarity to senior management and use data to influence decisions based on profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing monthly or quarterly reports
* Produce detailed forecast and actual trading profit and loss accounts for certain key client portfolios.
* Internal cost audits, make estimates of new and proposed service and contract costs.
* Review new service contracts in their incubation period to assess actual vs forecast cost.
* Ensure compliance to relevant accounting and regulatory standards.
Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience working in a similar position
* Confidence to work with a wide team and strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels
The type of individual we are looking for, is some who is an analytical, data driven thinker. You will also have a methodical and meticulous approach. Building relationships internally and externally is a must. It would also be an asset but not a must if you had a qualification with a professional accounting or finance body.
