Business Systems Analyst – Workday
The Business Systems Analyst for HR Systems will assist with the ongoing analysis, design, and implementation for Workday HCM and Compensation (Core and Advanced). This includes defining processes, data requirements, configuration and testing based on defined business requirements. Will also help define ongoing support including documenting operational processes, system administration functions, and trouble shoot issues as needed. The ideal candidate must have prior Workday HCM and Compensation configuration experience, Workday architecture familiarity, a process mind-set and best-in-class collaboration and written/verbal communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Responsibilities:
Day to Day Support:
- Engage stakeholder groups to document process and system requirements.
- Analyze and make recommendations for process and configuration options.
- Partner with business during critical testing cycles / UAT and support as needed.
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure go-live readiness.
- Partner with business experts, key stakeholders, and peers to define and document ongoing support processes and responsibilities related to Workday HCM and Compensation
- Work with other Workday functional experts on the internal team
System Resource:
- Meet regularly with internal team and customers, identifying issues and opportunities, and addressing as appropriate.
- Develops necessary documentation to support Workday configuration changes.
- Support the business with future needs related to Workday HCM and Compensation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Superior Communication Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Requires at least 3 years of Workday HCM and Compensation configuration experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate technology into business terms and to influence outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to parties from various levels and backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- College degree in Management Information Systems, HR or related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
- Workday certification, a plus but not required.
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
