Building Maintenance TechnicianJob Description Summary
The Maintenance Technician provides support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our client.Skilled position requiring mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting experience.
Job Description
- Require the ability to read/understand prints/diagrams for buildings and equipment.
- The ability to perform repairs and maintenance in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and general mechanical maintenance without supervision.
- Familiarity with codes applicable to field and industry.
- Working knowledge of hand tools pertinent to trade(s).
- Installs, repairs and maintains electrical controls, switching and motor controls.
- Wires single and three phase motors.
- Skills in maintaining facilities, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify the problem, determine the cause and repair as needed
- Working knowledge and experience with multiple hand tools and power tools.
IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of five years Facility Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
