Associate Director of Finance (On-Campus)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Associate Director of Finance will support the operations of UK Campus Housing and will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Prepare and oversee annual operating budget across nine separate properties.
- Manage team of direct reports in executing day-to-day finance responsibilities.
- Responsible for completing monthly financial close activities, including review of the P&L and general ledger to ensure GAAP compliance as well as the preparation of financial variance reports outlining financial performance regarding revenue, expenses, and established savings targets.
- Develop and manage tracking reports for Senior Management regarding current and historical cash flows and aged receivables.
- Ensures that the portfolio and individual communities meet the established financial performance goals by reviewing financial reports and assisting in the development of and implementation of appropriate action plans to achieve results.
- Oversees attainment of budgeted goals by analyzing and evaluating financial statements, reconciling monthly statements against approved budget, and working with the Controller, Asset Manager, and others to address and resolve gaps in the financial performance of the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields – required
- Master’s degree in finance or related fields – preferred
- Previous work experience in finance or related field of 3-5 years – preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Xlookups, etc.)
- Familiarity with database systems such as Yardi, Entrata, Starrez – preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience with general administrative support functions
- Strong documentation skills and an ability to work independently

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary.
