What You’ll Be Doing …

As an Associate Broker at Cushman & Wakefield, you will support a leading team with the necessary activities to accomplish business development and secure client relationships for the firm. Downtime will be marginal as you will be involved in transactions from day one. The existing accounts will allow you to produce qualified leads, book, and prepare for new client meetings. You will develop new business, become a trusted advisor to our clients, and you will be a part of one of the premiere Commercial Real Estate firms in the world.

• The opportunity to work with senior leaders who will provide tools to generate business.

• Continue to generate your own sales targets in accordance with firm goals

• Developing new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone calls, canvassing and follow-up with an assertive, positive message designed to meet the current challenges of your prospects’ business.

• Learn to collaborate with the various platforms at C&W to provide clients with outstanding service & solutions.

• Keeping current with Industry trends through C&W robust research.

• Leveraging social media for prospective business.

• Report and update senior team brokers on calling program status; clients met, and potential deals being generated.

• Work with senior team brokers to assist in calls and business development activities

• Represent the interests of client firms to locate retail and restaurant space (including researching companies and executives, preparing surveys, conducting tours, evaluating proposals, conducting financial analysis, preparing lease abstracts and reviewing lease documents)

• Work closely with brokers to prepare proposals and strategies for presentations, as well as working closely with Market Research to pull together market information for clients

• Develop and maintain working relationships with industry professionals

• Prepare financial analyses.

Qualifications You’ll Bring …

• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or graduate degree (in Real Estate preferred)

• 3+ years of professional experience in Commercial Real Estate, Legal or Finance

• Must procure and maintain a real estate license

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and sales skills essential

• Strong commercial real estate transactions skills and market knowledge

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Advanced financial background preferred

• Basic understanding of statistics/quantitative analysis

• Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
