About the Role
Cushman & Wakefield’s Engineering & Asset Management team are an award-winning team delivering industry leading asset management services to Australia’s largest commercial real estate occupiers. An opportunity has become available for an engineering professional to join us in the capacity of Asset Engineer.
A key focus will be on innovation, in conceiving and implementing new solutions to provide value-adding insights to inform our clients property strategies. Attention to detail will be essential to quality in delivering and presenting outcomes to clients. Ability to leverage technology to improve on existing methods and processes of data analysis and reporting for predictive asset maintenance and lifecycle planning. A combination of design minded problem solving skills and hard technical skills in data analytics and digital reporting will allow success in this role.
What You Will be Doing
- Managing and delivering the process for the development Contract Asset Management Plans
- Engaging with account leaders and client stakeholders to understand stakeholder requirements and priorities
- Performing asset lifecycle modelling to develop long term capital expenditure forecasts and works plans
- Conducting asset data collection activities through vendor engagement
- Managing delivery of inspection programs through governance of process and training and management of inspection resources and/or directly conducting asset condition audits through site inspections
- Working with account operation teams to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
- Manage asset planned preventative maintenance schedules in collaboration with data & scheduling coordinators
- Develop and maintain contract specific reporting that highlights statutory maintenance, certification & regulatory reporting performance
- Build and maintain data based digital reporting dashboard suite
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture to understand client requirements and priorities
- Data management and governance to ensure data is maintained at a high standard of quality and detail at an account level
About You
- Engineering or similar qualification or technical experience in facilities management/building services/data analytics – Mandatory;
- Circa 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in asset management in property/facilities management industry
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Outlook – Mandatory;
- Skills in data management, visualisation and reporting tools e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx etc.
- Basic programming/coding skills highly regarded (VBA, HTML, JavaScript, Python, CSS etc.)
- Experience in managing and delivering technical projects involving several stakeholders and complex data in line with strict deadlines
- Understanding of building operational systems (HVAC, Electrical, Fire etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative nature
