Apartment Maintenance Technician
Overview:
Do you like working with your hands and crave variety in your job? AMLI Residential has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at AMLI South Lake Union and AMLI 535. As the maintenance technician, you will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of our two luxury apartment communities in Seattle.
Duties Include:
- Perform general and higher-level maintenance services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
- Conduct inspections as required, per policy, and participate in preventative maintenance, including pool, exterior lighting, filter changes, and apartment inspections.
- Inspect vacated apartments and complete checklists in regard to make-ready/apartment turns.
- Replace or repair windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding glass doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closets, curtains, mini-blinds, ceiling fans, lights, etc.
- Check faucets, sink plugs and repair/replace as necessary. Replace washers when needed. Perform exterior repairs to sinks, bathtubs, etc., when warranted.
- Assist with painting and drywall repair.
- Make new keys when requested. Replace vacancy lock (if applicable) on the day lock is changed for new resident move-in.
- Share cleaning and grounds-keeping duties with all the maintenance staff.
- Respond on a timely basis to resident service requests.
- Be available to share on-call with other team members, including weekends and nights.
Compensation and Benefits:

- Starting pay: $24.00 an hour plus monthly bonuses

Requirements:
- Maintenance and Repair experience in Painting, Drywall, Basic Electric, and Plumbing.
- Availability for on-call rotation evenings and weekends.
