Job Description Summary

The purpose of the Research Analyst role is to provide research support to the Head of Industrial and Logistics Research as well as the broader Industrial & Logistics team! This role is part of the Cushman & Wakefield Australian Research team, delivering best in class analysis and insights.
The role is located at the Cushman & Wakefield Sydney office.

Job Description

This role will have primary responsibility for participating in data initiatives, quarterly reporting, contributing to thought-leadership outputs, responding to internal/external requests as well as creating presentation decks as required.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Proactively reach out to business units to determine their data support requirements and develop appropriate delivery strategy for each.
• Develop strong working relationships with key business units. Collaborate with these teams to develop new business initiatives.
• Provide administrative support in reports, data and charts to business units as required on RFPs, pitches and submissions.
• Assist with developing/maintaining the national industrial property database.
• Assist with generating quarterly market reports and presentation decks.
• Contribute to bespoke thought leadership pieces.
• Timely responses to business requests for data, charts and reports.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum degree qualified in Property Economics, Economics, Geography or a relevant quantitative discipline
• Minimum 2 to 4 years relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of current dynamics in Australia’s commercial property markets
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as required – be a self-starter with a positive mindset
• The ability to meet deadlines while showing high level of attention to detail
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
