Payroll Analyst
Business Unit/Service Line Finance Location Gurgaon, India
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role will a part of Australian Finance team based in Delhi NCR:
Performing payroll related month end tasks
Preparation of payroll tax returns and their timely submission on monthly basis
Review Pay Run amounts and ensure fund availability before approval
Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting
Participate & Support in other payroll related on-going projects
Support salary/ wages related queries and analytics for Audit
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Post ADP/ NGA journal templates to JDE
Resolve JDE errors
Communicate salary analysis file with key stakeholders
Reconcile bank payments with payroll journals and resolve any missing information
Prepare payroll tax file and related analytics
Prepare payroll GL recs
Prepare bonus and AL/ LSL journals
Carrying out trend analysis of costs
Follow instructions and templates
Identify prepaid expenses and amortize, missing vendor invoice and accrue
Document GL reconciliations and supporting information
Journal sign on bonus and amortization
Prepare accruals
Prepare payroll tax reconciliation in PWC format
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Graduate/Post Graduate with 5-6 years of experience.
SKILLS:
Strong Accounting/book keeping knowledge (Dr. and Cr skills)
Attention to Detail
Analytical Insights / Critical Thinking
Communication
Project Management / Time Management / Prioritization
Business Partnering / Stakeholder Management
