Accounts Specialist (Resident Services Manager)

Assists in the management of the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Additionally, the Accounts Specialist will assist in maintaining resident ledgers to ensure accuracy at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The accounts specialist will support the operations of UK Campus Housing and will include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Handles accounts payable process
  • Establishes vendor relationships and maintains accounts and files
  • Ensures that all student accounts are maintained in the database
  • Verifies and balances data on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
  • Assists with billings to accounts with proper record keeping
  • Assists in the development of office staff and maintains a positive interaction with residents
  • Continually maintains and reviews all proper filing systems
  • Assists in general administrative support as needed by management
  • Other duties as identified by EdR and UK

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 1-3 years business related experience
  • Familiarity with database systems such as AMSI, SAP, StarRez, Yardi
  • Database entry experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with general administrative support functions
  • Strong documentation skills and an ability to work independently

Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members may be eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary. Once eligible, team members may participate in the 401k plan. Regular, full-time team members are also offered a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits from which to choose.
