Job Description Summary

The Account Manager is a key role in C&W with responsibility to manage the client relationship while providing exceptional client service and delivering on all aspects of the contract. The Account Manager will manage and lead team members.
Responsible for <$2MM+ revenue and day to day client relationship of one or more client accounts within Global Occupier Services (GOS) across one or more service lines below:
1. Integrated Facility Management (including Engineering, EH&S, Sustainability, Supply Chain Mgt. etc.)
2.Project & Development Services
3.Transaction Management
4.Portfolio Administration
5.Portfolio and Workplace Strategy
This position provides management across all aspects of the accounts including, but not limited to,
1.Service Delivery Excellence (including innovation, best practices etc.)
2.Client Experience & Relationship Management
3.Talent Management and Team Development
4.Financial Performance (including P&L, contract expansion / renewals etc.)

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain a thorough understanding of the clientâ™s business goals and strategies to align real estate services with these objectives as it relates to Facilities Management Services
  • Oversee day-to day operations of facilities and lead team in providing exceptional customer focused and proactive FM service delivery
  • The ideal candidate will be a management professional with experience in health systems operations, health care compliance, real estate, facilities operations, budgeting, and project management in a clinical environment.
  • Ensuring properties are managed in compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and standards, including any requirements of third-party regulators such as NYSDOH, The Joint Commission, CMS, FDNY, EPA, and others.
  • Overseeing the collection and organization of documentation from required periodic Life Safety inspections, testing and maintenance activities.
  • Ability to synthesize information from many sources to create, articulate, and implement management strategies that will improve service delivery efficiencies and alignment of goals and expectations between C&W and the Client.
  • Implement the overall vision, strategy and measurement metrics to the applicable service lines
  • Drive innovation through the development of best practices, operational and service efficiency as well as the identification of industry trends and tools that would contribute to our operational excellence goals
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Implement and manage account governance process
  • Manager and provide disciplined contract management to meet superior delivery of all contract deliverables
  • Assist with risk mitigation and dispute resolution for client and C&W
  • Actively manage and develop account talent in partnership with HR, including promotion of diversity & inclusion, talent reviews, performance reviews, succession planning etc.
  • Support collaboration and performance of all partners including Finance, HR, Sourcing, Legal etc.
  • Develop and maintain account P&L management, profitability and overall financial performance
  • Contribute to the overall service and financial performance of C&W through effective cross-selling and relationship / contract expansion
  • Ensure quantitative and qualitative analytics and evidenced-based decision making

IMPORTANT EDUCATION

  • Bachelorâ™s degree required
  • Masterâ™s degree or MBA preferred

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Facilities Management Experience at management level or other similar capacity, preferably in healthcare or regulated industry with rigorous governance program
  • Experience in directly leading and managing teams
  • Client, P&L and contract management experience
  • Experience in the management of an integrated services account, including Integrated Facility Management, Project & Development Services, Transaction Management, Portfolio Administration and Strategic Consulting.
  • Union knowledge

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with agencies, local government officials, and business community members
  • Possess technical domain knowledge (one or more in IFM, PDS, TM, PA, SCON)
  • Skilled in financial analysis and knowledge of financial concepts
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. May be required to travel outside between client sites in varying weather conditions.
