Job Description
Penn Apartment Staffing is hiring leasing professionals to fill temporary and temp-to-hire positions in Frisco, Tx and the surrounding areas. Penn specializes in recruiting and placing highly skilled candidates in all positions within the multi-family apartment industry. We team up with top management companies to find quality personnel for their portfolio.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Leasing Consultant will greet prospective renters, show vacant apartments, assist existing tenants with maintenance requests, explain pricing and lease terms, pre-screen applicants, process leasing applications, oversee move-ins and and negotiate lease renewals. The leasing professional will also advertise available units ready to move-in by posting on social media, make cold calls and follow up on leads.
- Leasing apartments to maintain occupancy and collections
- Stand up, greet, qualify and “close” prospects
- Verify application and process paperwork
- Generate traffic for the property by performing outreach marketing (while thinking outside the box)
- Keep current residents happy by conducting functions and maintaining strong customer service
- Demonstrate community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to clients needs by communicating the features and benefits
- Answer phones
- Take work orders
- Assist the manager and assistant manager as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 3 year of apartment leasing experience
- Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
- Professional
- Organized and detail oriented
- Energetic self-starters
- Be outgoing and a team player with positive attitude
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
